Privacy Policy

Dux Smart Solution (“Dux Smart Solution”, “we”, “us”) provides engineering, preventive maintenance, renovation and training services in Utah. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

We wrote this in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, contact us at contactus@duxsmartsolution.com and we will explain it.

1. Information you give us

When you submit the quote request form on this website, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your company name, if you provide one
• The type of property involved
• The services you are interested in
• Your city or ZIP code
• Any details you choose to write in the message field
• Your confirmation that you agree to be contacted

We also collect the content of any emails, calls or messages you send us directly.

2. Information we collect when you become a client

If you hire us, we collect additional information in the course of delivering the service:

• Records of the work we perform, including inspection findings, maintenance history and written reports
• Information about your property, building systems and equipment, including make, model, condition and operating data
• Photographs and technical documentation produced during inspections and site visits
• Construction drawings and project documents you share with us for review
• Billing and payment information
• Access credentials to building automation or monitoring systems, where you choose to provide them so that we can perform the service

Some of this information is stored in the asset management and analytics platforms we use to run preventive maintenance programs.

Access credentials and building system data are held under restricted access controls and limited to the personnel who need them to do the work. We do not share them outside the companies that operate those platforms on our behalf, and we do not use them for any purpose other than delivering the service you hired us for.

3. Information we collect automatically

When you visit this website, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

• Your IP address, browser type, device type and operating system
• Pages you viewed, time spent on the site, and links you clicked
• The website or advertisement that referred you to us, including campaign parameters such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, gclid and fbclid
• The page you were on when you submitted a form

We store this attribution data alongside your form submission so we know which marketing channel brought you to us.

4. Information from advertising platforms

We advertise on Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). These platforms may provide us with aggregated information about the performance of our advertisements. They may also use cookies and similar technologies on this website, as described in section 6.

5. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to your request and schedule an on-site assessment
• Prepare and send you a written quote
• Provide the services you hire us for, and communicate with you about them
• Improve this website and understand which marketing channels work
• Keep the website secure and prevent fraudulent or abusive submissions
• Comply with our legal obligations and defend our legal rights

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

This website uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes:

• Analytics. To understand how visitors use the site, which pages they read, and where they leave. We use Google Analytics for this.
• Advertising measurement. To measure the performance of our Google and Meta advertising campaigns and, in some cases, to show you our advertisements on other websites.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you do, parts of this website may not work as intended.

7. Do Not Track and opt-out preference signals

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to these signals. This website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. If that changes, we will update this policy.

Some browsers and browser extensions also send opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control. This website does not currently process those signals either. If that changes, we will update this policy.

8. Who we share your information with

We share personal information only in these situations:

• Service providers. Companies that operate parts of this website and our business on our behalf — including our website hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, and our analytics and advertising providers. They may only use the information to perform services for us.
• Professional advisors. Our accountants, lawyers and insurers, where necessary.
• Legal requirements. Where we are legally required to disclose information, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others.
• Business transfer. If the business is sold or merged, your information may transfer as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not rent it to anyone.

We do use advertising and analytics cookies from Google and Meta to measure the performance of our campaigns and, in some cases, to show you our advertisements on other websites. Under some state privacy laws, this may be treated as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If you would rather we did not, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the advertising opt-out controls that Google and Meta provide in your account settings on those platforms.

9. How long we keep your information

We keep quote requests for as long as needed to respond to them and to comply with our legal, tax and insurance obligations. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will delete it.

10. How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Where your information is processed

This website and the systems we use to run it are hosted in the United States. If you visit this website or contact us from outside the United States, the information you provide will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from the laws of your country.

By using this website or contacting us, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.

12. Your choices and rights

You may:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to section 9
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time
• Withdraw your consent to be contacted

To exercise any of these, email contactus@duxsmartsolution.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You may authorize someone else to make a request on your behalf. If you do, we will ask for written proof of that authorization, and we may still ask you to confirm the request with us directly.

If we deny your request, you may appeal that decision by replying to our response or by writing to contactus@duxsmartsolution.com. We will tell you the outcome of the appeal in writing, and explain the reasoning.

We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower standard of service because you exercised any of these rights.

13. California residents

If you are a California resident, the California Online Privacy Protection Act gives you the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the categories of third parties we share it with. That information is in sections 1, 2, 3, 5 and 8 of this policy.

You may also request a change to your personal information by contacting us atcontactus@duxsmartsolution.com.

14. Phone calls, text messages and email

When you give us your phone number and check the consent box on our form, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text message or email about your request and about our services.

Consent to receive calls or text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service from us. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any message. To stop receiving marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in the email or contact us directly.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

15. Children's privacy

This website is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

16. Links to other websites

This website may link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them your information.

17. Changes to this policy and how to contact us

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page and post the updated version here. If the changes are significant, we will make that clear on this page.
